With more than 15 years experience in the real estate capital markets industry, David is a co-founder of Fairways Equities where he sources capital and provides financial solutions to corporate users of real estate to optimize the economics and overall structure of their real estate holdings. His experience and knowledge of the real estate and corporate debt markets has been vital in achieving the least expensive source of funds for his clients. With a pulse on the industry’s latest trends and finance solutions, industry veterans frequently call on him to discover the latest structure.

Prior to founding Fairways Equities, David co-led Staubach Financial Services, the investment banking arm of The Staubach Company. In addition, David helped establish Wolverine Holding Company, a leading principal within the sale/leaseback industry. David has been involved in transactions totaling over $7 billion for clients such as Exelon/ComEd, HCA, Marriott International, Phillips Petroleum and Zymogenetics. The millions of dollars in savings for clients have enabled them to focus capital on their core businesses.

David is frequently quoted and has been published in numerous real estate and finance publications. In addition, he serves on the advisory board of Net Lease Forum, one of the industry’s leading real estate finance publications. David also serves on the Board of Directors of his business school alma mater, Vanderbilt University, and plays an active role in Young Life where he serves on the Board of Directors.
